3 Essential Qualities of A Genius
Anyone can become a genius. Seriously.
And there’s no limitations on the age at which you can become one. The process is quite simple and within the capacity of any intelligent human being – and what human isn’t intelligent?
Genius is just a matter of a few things like:
#1. Confidence
Confidence itself is nothing but how you see yourself, which is based on what you tell yourself repeatedly.
Whenever you meet a complex concept, rather than back out in timidity with the lousy excuse that you lack the training or expertise, simply tell yourself, “This is within my capacity to comprehend.”
Sounds simple, huh?
Well, it is. Just give it a try.
#2. Rapid information intake
Read my notes on Make Lightening Fast Decisions.
How fast you take in information is a great determinant of genius.
#3. Persistence
I mean, a dogged tenacity that refuses to quit until the problem is solved.
I guess all I’m trying to say is that genius = personal confidence + rapid learning + persistence.
The Master’s Secrets to Making the Most out of the Least
After two weeks of overseas travelling and missions, I was very excited to be back home and reunited with our Church Family here in Nigeria.
As I expected, everywhere is a beehive of activities funneled towards final preparations for the forthcoming festival of home churches 2010
…the desire to be different, to make history
I’ve discovered that the one thing I share in common with the membership and leadership of our ministry is the desire to be different, to stand out and be different. I feel it every time I get the opportunity to spend time with any of the leaders here, both male and female.
I am a non-conformist, and I enjoy being that way. And I’m really glad that this is one powerful common thread that I share with the leadership of the movement that I lead.
We want to stand out in the sands of time and have it recorded that we lived extraordinary lives and performed phenomenal feats such as no other ever had, or ever will.
During my sermon yesterday in church, I pointed out the reality that we will never realize our dreams of distinction by doing what every other person is doing, or doing it how others are doing it. Rather, it is by daily and deliberately making that conscious choice and effort to be different.
I see this coming Festival as an opportunity for us to register a statement, to introduce new realities. This is an opportunity for us to actually make history, to do something we’ll be proud of for years to come; something that people would refer to for decades to come.
…our real strength
First of all, this Festival is our opportunity to defy the traditional ministry paradigm that strength lies in numbers.
Of course, that traditional paradigm makes sense; it’s absolutely logical. But it’s not essentially true. As a matter of fact the following scripture flies right in the face of it:
“No king is saved by the size of his army; no warrior escapes by his great strength.
A horse is a vain hope for deliverance; despite all it’s great strength it cannot save.
But the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love.”
~ Psalm 33:16 – 18
Note my emphasis in the verse above.
David was a mighty warrior and won so many victories. Indeed, he was Israel’s greatest warrior king, and in the course of his numerous campaigns and victories, he learnt a very profound mystery relating to victory and conquest – no king is saved by the size of his army.
I’m certain he learnt this secret both from divine revelation, as well as from practical experience.
Life is a race; it is a battle too. And in this race and battle, victory is never a function of size or numbers. David learnt that the secret to winning in the race and battle of life is the LORD Almighty actively working in the life of an individual, group, or nation.
Our real strength is not in our numbers or human resources; our real strength is in our God.
“The LORD is the strength of his people, a fortress of salvation for his anointed one.”
~ Psalm 28:8
…the real church
Secondly, this Festival is our opportunity to bring the real church into spotlight.
Our generation is enamored by size and numbers, and this has infected even the church. Ministry success today is measured in terms of church attendance figures: the term ‘mega-church’ has been among us now for a while and has become some sort of ‘goal’ to aspire to by church leaders.
Actually, I have absolutely nothing against mega churches. As a matter of fact I do admire them and believe that they are a force for good in a society that seeks any cause to despise the church of Jesus Christ.
As I wrote in an earlier post on this blog, the Church can take many forms in its expressions in time and space – a massive stadium celebration galore, as well as a small, simple Christian friends club.
The fact that God is not in any away against ‘mega-churches’ is clearly expressed in the words of Saul’s son, Jonathan:
“Nothing can hinder the LORD from saving, whether by many or by few.”
~ 1 Samuel 14:6c
In fact, any mega church, as their history will show, is actually the result of decades of faithfulness and diligence from a committed few.
The problem however is when we erroneously believe that we can’t fulfill our dreams and visions if we are few in number; when ministers feel intimidated, discouraged, and develop a sense of failure simply because they have a handful of people in their congregation.
Personally, in a world that is enamored by mega churches – huge crowds and large numbers of spectators, I’m more interested in mini churches – compact, small groups of intimate brothers and sisters. Jesus defined the Church as “Where two or three are gathered together in my name…’”
This Festival is our opportunity to highlight the essence of the Church as defined by Jesus Christ. I want to encourage those who lead ‘a handful of people’ to be strengthened in their heart and become more motivated to faithfully shepherd the flock over which the LORD has made them overseers.
Leaders of so called small groups must realize that they can achieve any dream that the LORD has placed in their hearts in spite of their numbers.
…a very important distinction
Yet, we should never be under any illusions in terms of God’s demands for increase, productivity, and fruitfulness: God wants us to be fruitful in life and ministry. He wants our services to Him to be productive and expansive. He wants us to be achievers, winners, victors, conquerors, and overcomers.
“Five of you will chase a hundred and a hundred of you will chase ten thousand, and your enemies will fall by the sword before you.”
~ Leviticus 26:8
As you can see from the above verse, the essence of a team is one thing, her reach, impact, and output is another. This is a very important distinction.
In other words, big or small, numbers should never define our level of impact; big or small, we should be able to reach hundreds, thousands, millions, and even billions with our gifts and talents. Scanty numbers should never become an excuse for mediocrity.
This was actually what David meant in the following verse which we have already quoted before:
“No king is saved by the size of his army; no warrior escapes by his great strength.
A horse is a vain hope for deliverance; despite all it’s great strength it cannot save.
But the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love.”
~ Psalm 33:16 – 18
And this is an important point we want to make during this Festival.
Regardless of the size of your congregation, five or hundred , you have the potential to make a difference and reach the entire world from where you are if you understand where our real strength lies and how to tap into it for multiplied output.
The implication of Jonathan’s statement below that…
“Nothing can hinder the LORD from saving, whether by many or by few.” ~
1 Samuel 14:6c
…is that a church of, say ten people, has as much capacity to fulfill their divine vision as much as another church of, say one hundred thousand people. Provided, of course, the group of ten people understand that…
…the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love.”
~ Psalm 33:16 – 18
…as well as that,
“The LORD is the strength of his people, a fortress of salvation for his anointed one.”
~ Psalm 28:8
…multiplied output
In the Parable of the Talents, the King (symbolizing Jesus) gives a talent to each of his servants and sends them out into the marketplace to produce profits.
“So he called ten of his servants and gave them ten minas. ‘Put this money to work,’ he said, ‘until I come back.’
~ Luke 19:13
When the king came back, he rewarded the servants on the basis of how much they were able to multiply their original talents.
And when one of the servants failed to multiply his talents he is severely rebuked and punished by the master. “Why then didn’t you put my money on deposit, so that when I came back, I could have collected it with interest?” said the master in verse 23.
Clearly, our Master, who has invested so much in us, expects profitable returns on His investment. This is another important point of this Festival – to challenge individual members of Christ’s body to make the most out of every resources and opportunities that we have for the glory and joy of our LORD.
…secrets of the Master
As always, and in everything, Jesus Christ remains our model. In the miracle of the feeding of the multitude, He shows us a perfect example of how little things can make a phenomenal difference. Using only five loaves and two fish, He fed a crowd of over five thousand people!
That miracle showcases the Master’s secrets to making the most out of the least:
#1. Jesus Christ recognized His potential – what He had.
“How many loaves do you have?” he asked. “Go and see.” When they found out, they said, “Five- and two fish”. ~ Mark 6:38
He took stock of what He had.
Warriors focus on what they do have, the strengths that they do possess.
#2. He was grateful for it.
“Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves.” ~ Mark 6:41a
#3. He stepped out in faith with it.
“Then he gave them to his disciples to set before the people. He also divided the two fish among them all.” ~ Mark 6:41b
4. He was not wasteful with it.
“When they had all had enough to eat, he said to his disciples, ‘Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted.’” ~ John 6:12
I dare you to step out today with the many or few that you have. Step out in faith and courage, and with a heart of gratitude. You will be amazed at how much you can achieve with what you have.

Awaken America: USA in Prophecy
Recently, the LORD sent me on a special mission to the USA to deliver a message of revival and restoration to that great nation. And in response, I’ve been travelling around speaking in Churches, radio, television, and as well as speaking to individuals – particularly leaders – as well as small groups.
A very common question that I’ve been asked – whether it is in Tampa, Nashville, Pittsburgh, Tulsa, etc., – is “Why are you here? What message are you bringing?”
During an interview on Focus 4, Cornerstone Television, Tim Burgan specifically asked me, “I know that the LORD has sent you to the United States not just to stir up healing, and deliverance and things like that, but you have a message you feel like God has given you for America. What is the word…”
Everywhere I’ve been and spoken, my message has remained simple and straightforward: return back to God, to the values and principles of Scripture upon which your nation was founded.
Here’s an interesting scripture that helps express my insight into the purpose of God for this nation:
“…smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered…” ~ Zechariah 13:7
The above verse fits perfectly into the so called 80/20 principle – law of the few, which is that certain individuals, or handful of people are critical to the success of any enterprise.
This is not only true of individuals, but it’s also true of nations. Just as God chooses individuals, He also chooses nations and endows them with unique features to play certain strategic roles in His overall purpose for humanity.
America is one nation that has been chosen by God to bear His light and model His ways on the earth.
Unfortunately this is the very reason satan is very much active in distracting this nation from God. And he appears to be doing a very good job at it.
Consequently, God has been displaced in the consciousness of Americans by money, self, and other things.
And He has sent me here as a prophet to this nation to call her back to Himself so He can continue to use her for the reasons He raised her. The Awaken America mission is fundamentally about challenging Americans to personal submission to the sovereignty of God, the Lordship of Jesus Christ, and to the authority, principles, and revelations of the Holy Bible.
Stunning results
So far, the results have been stunning. Two days ago I was notified by my website hosts in Texas that they couldn’t deal with the traffic on my blog and had to shut it down for several hours.
This is a clearly Christian blog that challenges people to intimacy with God and to deepen their faith. And, honestly, its somewhat amazing to me that a Christian blog like this would attract that much traffic.
But this is simply a testimony to how hungry people are for God.
I have also been travelling around this nation delivering this message in Churches, Home Churches, Christian Groups, and Bible Institutions. The response has been the same as I called upon people to return to God and yield to Him the premium place in their priorities.
I spoke at the Victory Bible Institute in Tulsa and couldn’t even finish because over 300 students broke into tears crying out to God. The director told me that several minutes after we’d left the building, it was still jammed with students crying out to God – showing that it had nothing to do with me.
There is a real hunger for God in this nation, but we must respond appropriately.
Within this week, I’ll be on radio and television to continue to deliver this message. I ask you to pray for I and my Team here that we will speak with boldness and deliver God’s message to this nation with absolute integrity.
Seeking the pleasure of God
"and find out what pleases the Lord." (Ephesians 5:10).
Seek the pleasure of God in everything you do each and every moment of your life.
Until you seek His pleasures, you will never know the beauty, glory, and power of His presence.
It is very sad today to see Christians trying to please men, rather than God. We are running around and chasing after things that ought to pursue us. Today we seek to be acceptable in the eyes of men. We seek material things – luxurious houses and cars that will make us the envy of our neighbours and colleagues.
The result is that we have become no different from the pagans. Christians today have become slaves to their own desires, and to this worlds system.
The ultimate tragedy is that we have exchanged the glory of God for filthy lucre.
Like our LORD, we ought to live our lives solely to please God. Jesus sought only the pleasure of His Father, which was why He enjoyed His presence like no other.
"The one who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, for I always do what pleases him"." (John 8:29).
Until you seek His pleasures, you will never know the beauty, glory, and power of His presence.
Faith pleases God
God’s greatest pleasure is to be believed and trusted. In fact, it is impossible to please Him without faith.
"And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." (Hebrews 11:6).
Faith means that when you meet God’s words, you discard human opinion and embrace them.
Think on His promises.
Say them faithfully.
Act on them.
That’s how to pleasure God.
Sanctification pleases God
"Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God- this is your spiritual act of worship." (Romans 12:1).
"Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is- his good, pleasing and perfect will." (Romans 12:2).
When we dare to separate ourselves from worldly mindsets and patterns, and live holy lives unto the Lord, that pleasures Him.
Sinful and unsanctified living is offensive to God.
The secret to pleasing God
The secret to pleasing God is intimate fellowship with God.
Jesus showed us the perfect example.
"Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed. Simon and his companions went to look for him," (Mark 1:35-36).
"and when they found him, they exclaimed: "Everyone is looking for you!" Jesus replied, "Let us go somewhere else- to the nearby villages- so I can preach there also. That is why I have come"." (Mark 1:37-38).
He valued the presence and company of His heavenly Father above that of men.
His very intimate fellowship with God enabled Him to shun the accolade of men, and walk away from human distractions.
Thus He enjoyed an unparalleled manifestation of God’s power and glory on earth.
If we want to please God, and be His instruments for change in this dark and sick world, we must cultivate a deep, and abiding intimacy with God.
We must learn to walk away from human distractions to spend time alone with God.
Prayer
"May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen." (Hebrews 13:21).
Your Nature and Your Nurture
Here are some interesting points regarding the concepts of nature and nurture.
Enjoy.
#1. Your nature is basic to success
Your nature refers to your basic design.
You can’t function contrary to your basic natural design.
I know you’ll try to; you’ll make every effort to, particularly during those stupid moments that you succumb to the error of comparing yourself to others.
But you just can’t become anything other than what is determined by your nature.
You can only become whom and what you are.
Of course, humans have metamorphic capabilities. But that only goes to further establish the fact, because metamorphosis is essentially a process by which entities become what they’ve already been designed to be. The larva is able to metamorphose into a beautiful butterfly only because it has always been a butterfly by nature.
#2: Your nature decides what environments would be favorable to your success
For instance, the nature of a fish is such that water is favorable to it, whereas the same environment would be absolutely destructive for a lion. The lion, on the other hand, thrives in the jungle – a terrain that would be very ‘poisonous’ to a fish.
One reason I challenge people to discover themselves is because understanding your own uniqueness enables you to consciously choose your environments on the basis of what would be favorable to your basic design..
#3: Your nature decides the relevance of your nurture
The relevance – or benefit – of what you feed on depends on your nature.
For instance, food that is good for a goat, might be poisonous to a human being.
As a result of the uniqueness of your design, not all information, company, or resources would be relevant to you. What’s good for the goose, might not be good for the gander!
#4: You can’t nurture what’s not there in the first place
A natural quality must first exist before it can be nurtured. Training is essentially every effort to nurture and refine an ability or quality that one already possesses. To train as a footballer, you must possess the talent. To train as a musician, you must have the music ability already within.
Rather than trying to learn to do something you don’t naturally possess, discover something you already possess naturally. Then nurture it. That’s smarter.
Nurture can never create what nature has not given.
#5: Your nature decides your potential – what you can ultimately become
A sheep can never become a shepherd. Both are of different natures. No matter how much you feed and train a sheep, it would never rise to the stature of a shepherd. This is because they are of different natures.
A fool is essentially different from a wise man. They are of different natures. No matter how much you teach a fool, he can never be wise. Wisdom is too high for a fool.
The saying ‘good followers make good leaders’ is flawed. Followership is a different nature from leadership.
A good follower doesn’t necessarily make a great leader except, of course, he has the nature of a leader.
Think about these 5 points again:
- Your nature is basic to your success
- Your nature decides what environments would be favorable to your success.
- Your nature decides the relevance of your nurture.
- You can’t nurture what’s not there in the first place.
- Your nature decides your potential – what you can ultimately become.
Success is Good Relationships.
Most people have to suffer unnecessarily to get anything done simply because they lack relational skills.
I know nobody likes to bend over for another person; it could be quite humiliating, and that’s quite different from what I’m talking about here.
Nevertheless, in the real world, compromise is inevitable. You often have to bend to survive and win.
Most people in this world are selfish; this is a cause of great suffering, stagnation, and frustration.
A lot of people in relationships think only in terms of what they want, rather than what the other person wants.
In business, selfish people think only of their bottom-line, rather than the full satisfaction of their customers.
A stingy soul is repulsive and inhibitive to a healthy relationship.
Generosity, on the other hand, is an extremely attractive quality that causes relationships to thrive and flourish, as well as yield desirable dividends.
In fact the quality of generosity in a human being is the single most attractive quality of a person; it is the secret behind pleasing personalities, which is a cardinal pillar of personal success.
The most attractive and magnetic quality of the human soul is generosity.
A generous soul attracts everything – people, wealth, opportunity, and so on.
What I’m saying here is that you need to build great relationships if you want to be successful; generosity is a cardinal pillar of successful relationships.
Choose To Forgive
Forgiveness should never be earned; it must be given as a gift, even to those who don’t deserve it .
When someone hurts you, don’t wait for them to say sorry before you forgive them. Don’t wait for anyone to ask for your forgiveness before you choose to forgive. Forgive them even before they ask for forgiveness, and even if they never ask for it.
To forgive is your prerogative; its your choice.
It just doesn’t matter what anyone did to you. Chose to forgive.
You see, the human heart and mind was never designed to harbor bitterness and unforgiveness, because they are poisonous to spirit, soul and body.
Forgiveness is a soul-cleansing act.
You do it for your own spiritual health, and never for the sake of the fellow that hurt you.
Forgiveness is a health-restorer.
A lot of illnesses today would be gone if only we’ll let go of cherished hurts and bitterness.
Sometime ago, a crippled man was brought to my healing crusade. I had already begun to minister when he was rolled into the hall in a wheelchair.
I called him forward immediately because I had seen him in my spiritual vision rise to his feet. But when I called to him to stand up and walk, he couldn’t. I was surprised.
I was so certain he was healed that I asked his wife and sons to bring him again the next day.
That night I asked the Holy Spirit why the man couldn’t get up when I commanded him to. He told me that the man had bitterness in his heart against his wife!
The woman, the Lord continued, had hurt the man five years before then, and he still harbored the pain in his heart. The unforgiveness was eating up his bones and destroying his life.
The next evening when they rolled him to the front where I was laying hands and praying for the sick, I told him what the Lord had said to me the previous night. I asked him to forgive his wife. I also asked the wife to pray for him before I did.
I then laid my hands on him and prayed a very simple prayer for him. I was certain he would walk before dawn.
He did.
Unforgiveness had kept him in a wheelchair for over five years!
Unforgiveness is such a weight and a burden. Never let it take you down.
You must choose to forgive, for your own health and peace of mind.
Let go of those hurts today, and let God restore your health and your fortunes.
Are you really thinking?
Think and grow rich –
You must have read that famous book by Napoleon Hill, who, by the way, happens to be my favorite author.
So, are you really thinking, or are you merely wishing and day-dreaming?
Most folks wish and day-dream in the name of thinking, which is even better than those who would rather prefer to worry and be anxious about everything.
Some love to think. Others hate it. And for that reason, there will always be masters, and there will always be servants. Those who really think will always rule over those who are too lazy to think, or who substitute wishing for thinking.
Thinking is very hard. So, I don’t blame those who avoid it. But if you want to be rich and successful, you must think.
Do you really want to think?
Well, you’ll need accurate data, rather than silly and ignorant opinions and assumptions.
Then you’ll need to ask the right questions, and this from the right sources.
You’ll also need to put your answers into the right context in order to separate wisdom from mere facts.
And if you think this is all to much, then go and join the brainless masses, because real thinking is simply not for the lazy and faint-hearted; it’s a very serious business.
How To Be An Effective Soul-winner
Here are some questions for Christian believers:
- How many have become saved through your influence ever since you became a believer?
- How many have become strong in their faith and grown in the knowledge of God through your influence?
Be sincere in your answer. If it is none, then your Christian testimony so far has been empty and barren; you also lack spiritual wisdom.
"The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise." (Proverbs 11:30).
He that wins SOULS is wise.
Soul-winning is a product of spiritual wisdom. You can’t win souls for God if you are not WISE. If you are not winning souls to God, you lack spiritual wisdom.
"Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt." (Daniel 12:2).
"Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever." (Daniel 12:3).
Those who are wise – who lead many to righteousness – shall shine like the brightness of the heavens, like stars forever and ever.
What this means is that eternal greatness and stardom – the only ones that really matter -are solely reserved for those who win souls to God in this lifetime. As a matter of fact, no one can be a star in God’s Kingdom apart from winning souls.
Besides, nothing creates as much joy in heaven as the salvation of one single soul!
"I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent." (Luke 15:7).
Jesus gave us a job!
The level of unfruitfulness in the Church today is appalling.
This world is sick.
This world is twisted and perverted.
This world is dying.
And in the midst of all the decadence and spiritual bankruptcy of our world today, its pathetic to see so-called Christians caught up in silliness and worldliness.
For God’s sake, Jesus gave us a job!
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit," (Matthew 28:19).
"and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age"." (Matthew 28:20).
And He will hold His followers – you, and I – accountable for the execution of this assignment of converting souls unto Him.
We must influence our world and turn men to God. We must win souls to God and lead many to righteousness.
5 Keys to effective soul-winning
The five keys outlined below will enhance your soul-winning efforts and enable you to become successful in leading many to righteousness.
#1. You must strengthen your own personal relationship with God.
The time you spend alone with God is important; so also is the time you spend meditating on God’s word.
Know who are you in the Lord.
"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden." (Matthew 5:14).
Know your rights and privileges in the Lord.
#2. You must be different from the world.
"Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…" (Romans 12:2).
This world has its own twisted, warped, distorted, and perverted pattern of values and priorities. We must have no part of it.
We must stand out and be peculiar.
"But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:" (1 Peter 2:9).
O yes, peculiar people!
Some folks are so scared of standing out, and of being labeled as ‘weirdo’s’ and ‘Jesus freaks’, that they are now paralyzed and utterly useless to Jesus Christ and His Kingdom.
Dare to stand out for Jesus Christ.
Dare to be different from this messed up world.
Discover yourself!
"Therefore come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you". (2 Corinthians 6:17).
Quit trying to fit in and be accepted by the world; it’s not worth the effort.
Come out.
Be separate.
Be different.
We are in this world, but we are not of this world.
"If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you." (John 15:19).
We must understand that and maintain that distinction.
We just shouldn’t share the values and priorities of this wicked and corrupt world.
"Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him." (1 John 2:15).
"For everything in the world- the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does- comes not from the Father but from the world." (1 John 2:16).
"The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever." (1 John 2:17).
#3. Be personally successful.
"Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through a prophetic message when the body of elders laid their hands on you. Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress." (1 Timothy 4:14-15).
People want proof; without proof your testimony is useless.
Your life should be the evidence that it pays to serve God.
We should be the evidence that God is mighty.
You can’t be sick, poor, broke, busted, and disgusted and expect anyone to be attracted to your ‘Jesus’.
You can’t be an unproductive and pathetic lay about and expect sensible people to be attracted to your ‘Jesus’.
The laziness, unproductivity, and lack of any color in the lives of today’s so-called Christians are sending this world to hell.
The manifestations of God in your personal life – your personal success – are your primary weapons for soul-winning.
In order to become an effective soul-winner, you must put your gifts, talents, and resources to use and create positive and attractive results.
4. Be relevant.
"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." (Matthew 5:16).
Who you are in God, and your gains in Him, should be employed to solve the problems of others.
Your gifts and talents should be developed and deployed in the marketplaces of the earth to solve the problems of the world.
Only those who solve the problems of others can become effective soul-winners.
5. Boldly speak to others about Jesus and their need to get saved.
"For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline. So do not be ashamed to testify about our Lord…" (2 Timothy 1:7-8).
A lot of Christians today operate like terrified chickens, too scared and timid to talk about Jesus and stand for their values.
Many Christians prefer to be quiet about their faith.
That is so wrong.
Be bold and vocal about it.
Tell about the goodness and greatness of God in your life.
Share your beliefs and values in the LORD.
Talk about what Jesus Christ did on the cross of Calvary and its necessity for salvation and deliverance from sin’s power and its consequences.
Boldly challenge and invite others to surrender their lives to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
Now, get on with God’s number one job on earth today – the job of saving souls!
The Dynamism of Knowledge
Contradictions are beautiful; as a matter of fact, I prefer them to conclusions. Conclusions tend to restrict and choke the freedom of individuals to think for themselves. Contradictions on the other hand allow the mind and spirit to roam freely and question everything.
I understand, though, that this holds true only for those who love to think for themselves, and who have developed their minds to do so. For the rest, I can imagine that contradictions would breed confusion. They would rather have conclusions, that is, thoughts that have been processed in the minds of others, and then served to them , either for a fee, or for free.
According to the New York Time’s A Scientist Takes on Gravity, Erik Verlinde, 48, a respected string theorist and professor of physics at the University of Amsterdam, has challenged the basic laws of Newtonian and Einsteinian Gravity. He categorically stated that ‘For me gravity doesn’t exist.’
It was quite thrilling for me to read that.
I truly admire the kind of mindset that is neither intimidated by the age of any conclusion, nor by the authority and expertise of those that made the conclusion.
I prefer to keep an open mind on all subjects and to keep learning.
Knowledge is infinite and extremely dynamic; there’s no end to it. So why conclude?
Heaven would be so boring were it not for the fact that we’ll be exploring the inexhaustible depths of God’s infinite knowledge and wisdom through all eternity.
I used to be upset and annoyed by dogmatic conclusions. Now I find it all rather amusing, silly, and boring.
I know what I know. I don’t know what I don’t know. But I know that what I don’t know is greater and superior to what I know. Furthermore, the progressive knowledge of what I don’t know will ultimately modify, or overwrite what I know.
In that case, I avoid any emotional attachments to any thing that I know, in spite of how sensible, reasonable, or logical it may appear.
knowledge is essentially dynamic.
The Path to Life
To truly live, you must first die.
Death means loss. To die means to lose, to give up.
Whatever you can’t give up will rule you. Whatever you are unwilling to forsake, if necessary, will enslave you – be it a person or a thing.
It is only by giving up that you truly own.
In order to defeat death, and bring life to those who believe in Him, Jesus Christ had to give up His earthly, fleshly life. His earthly life was the seed. He obtained an earthly life, was made flesh and blood, so He could have a seed to sow.
It takes death to defeat death. Until you are willing to die, you are not yet ready to live.
“They overcame him by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.” ~ Revelations 12:11
“The man who loves his life will lose it, while the man who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.” ~ John 12:25
You must exchange an inferior life for a superior life.
You must give up what you have to create what you want.
There’s no other way.
You can only break the power of fear over your life when you confront that fear.
Death is the path to life.
Please, share your thoughts below –
Power belongs to the people!
Indeed!
What a joke.
Power belongs to the people my foot!
Listen.
Power belongs to the wise, the smart, the thinker, the strategist, the manipulator, the wealthy, the disciplined…
Not to the lazy, mentally indolent, undisciplined, religious, sentimental masses.
Do you get it?
Because the masses are brainless, and spineless, they’ll always be controlled by the shrewd manipulators, schemers and strategists in business, villages, politics, religion, education, and on and on…
Power belongs to the people.
Indeed!
So, step out of the crowd, right now (!), and stake your claim on what belongs to you
Make lightening fast decisions!
Make up your mind! – and do it fast.
Most people are crawling through life because they need eternity to make up their minds. They hedge, and squirm, and twist, and wriggle, all in the name of trying to reach a decision as to what to do.
Successful people, on the other hand, are usually those who have trained their intellects and minds to think rapidly and reach decisions with a snap of the finger.
I agree this requires some tough training. Well get on with it!
Make no mistake about it;the ability to make lightening-fast (but accurate) decisions is critical to success, particularly in the global village reality of today.
This skill can only be developed through rapid learning that comes through voracious reading, and a God-inspired self-confidence. You’ve got to learn to read as much as you can as fast as they come.
For instance, how long does it take you to read an online page?
How long does it take you to read the page of a book?
How long does it take you to master a new concept?
And how long does it take you to determine that this or that is the right kind of information to pursue?
The truth is that you have the capacity to learn as fast as anyone, and to master any concept no matter how complex. But you must shake off restrictive mental conditioning that tells you you can’t do what God already designed you to do.
You can think fast.
And you should.

A money making tip for the really smart…
The poor fellows want information on some subject. They know its ‘out there’ on some website somewhere. So they go to Google and put in their best combinations of words, hoping that the ‘idiot machine’ would read their minds and know exactly what they want.
Well, here’s what Mr. Google, just like any great clown, proceeds to do: it churns out several million links to millions of websites!
So, how in the world are the poor ill-educated fellows expected to sift through millions of both helpful and utterly worthless mountain of information to satisfy their quest?
Of course, depending on the veracity of their various brain powers, they make their most intelligent guesses, copy a bunch of weird looking characters into their digital storage spaces, and hope for the best… .
But, and here is the really fun part, I see several money making opportunities here; but I will only share one.
- Get paid for search by less intelligent minds!
Why not. I know lots of people that won’t even be able to find the names of their villages if asked to google it. I bet you they won’t know what to put in there. Seriously!
So, software developers and programmers, here’s a goldmine for you. Get all of those millions of online digital data from Google, Yahoo, Bing, Altavista, Ask, and so on. Organize it for the lazy minds now writing their final year projects – or preparing a motivational seminar, working on some half-baked, poorly-researched-and-thought-out book, or lecture. Then sell it for some handsome profit.
Of course, there are many twists to this, so get on with your own version of it immediately! - Master the skill of searching.
That’s the future. Make no mistake about it. The entire infrastructure of information gathering, distribution, and access is about to be radically altered.
Don’t be caught napping!

In Favor of What Sells
Our entire society tends more and more to ostracizing the talent if it doesn’t fit the commercial mold.
The result is that a lot of times, quality and individualism are abandoned in favor of ‘what sells’.
Well, here’s my advice: Don’t try to fight this fact. Take advantage of it!
How?
Simple. Don’t be a fool — Develop great marketing and selling skills!
Only this time, use them to market and sell great products.
