One of the most significant things about time is that it is elastic – it can be expanded, or shrunk to fit your needs, as long as you understand and master the necessary forces required to do so.  Some of my friends who’ve read this series have already sent me some interesting thoughts on how time can be compressed to suit our specifications in life.  I was particularly intrigued by Jenny’s who wrote to me that she can actually control her time through her thoughts!

In today’s post, I want to examine another force that can mould time to your advantage – APPLIED KNOWLEDGE.

The power of awareness and applied knowledge

Look at a comparison that I made in part three of this series:

The ancient Israelites spent 40 years to make a journey of 405 kilometres, whereas the astronauts in Stardust space probe covered the same distance in just 31 seconds!  What was the major difference between these two groups of people?  The answer is simply the fact that the people associated with the space probe had a better knowledge and understanding of the laws of the universe governing motion and how to apply them to advantage.

You see, the more you understand the universal laws governing any sphere of activity here on earth, and the more you can accurate apply that understanding to your enterprises, the less time you’ll need to move from where you are to where you’d rather be.

The difference between your ‘today’ and your preferred ‘future’ is not a matter of chronological time, it’s rather a function of your own awareness, consciousness, and accurate application of divine universal laws and principles.  Your future is in your mind; it’s in your awareness.

Think about this:  You can accomplish in 31 seconds, something that others do in 40 years, if you have the necessary understanding of the laws governing that enterprise, and if you accurately apply that understanding.  If you knew more about the laws governing a sphere, you would move at rates hundreds of times faster than now.

The man who evolves from a cash-flow of zero dollars (per month)to a billion dollars (per month) in less than a year, has most likely become aware of and applied certain universal laws and principles of wealth creation that are probably not yet available to his fellow humans.

For instance, J. Paul Getty writes that “To succeed in business, to reach the top, an individual must know all it is possible to know about that business.”

I like St. Augustine’s submission on the subject of Miracles. He says that, “Miracles are not contrary to nature, but only contrary to what we know about nature.”

In the next 3000 years, a lot of what we refer to as miracles today, would be done by humans as a normal part of their daily living.  The difference would lie in the fact that they would have acquired greater awareness and understanding of the universal laws of life and existence.  50 years from now, some of the things we do in weeks and months, would be accomplished in a matter of seconds as a result of greater knowledge of the underlying designs and mysteries of life.

But for now, my point is that you can reduce the time needed to create your own personal success and accomplish your dreams, if you can increase your awareness and understanding of the governing laws of life.
